Leadership in Action
This workshop provides the participants with an opportunity to work on and learn about the challenges they face when managing teams and developing informal authority within the organisation. The programme is founded on a series of exercises which allow for the participants to work on their real life working realities through the use of new tools and an increased insight. A strong focus is maintained on the identification of practical opportunities and strategies geared towards the strengthening of leadership capacities in both horizontal and vertical relationships. Participants undertaking this programme often highlight the effectiveness of what is learnt in its immediate applicability within their working spheres.
Having completed the workshop the participants will have:
- Increased awareness of habitual patterns of thought and behaviour which often impact negatively on the way in which leadership responsibilities are undertaken.
- Identified concrete opportunities for improvement in their habitual forms of dealing with the following challenges: fomenting a climate of commitment and motivation, developing influence and credibility, managing and developing collaborators, delegating and managing the cycle of commitments, and achieving alignment under a shared vision.
