Presentation

Here at Ingouville, Nelson & Asoc. we have worked in 25 countries with over 250 first rate companies and organisations. We have trained and advised a diverse client portfolio ranging from Washington bankers to the Jivaro tribal communities of the Amazon basin.

Our services are adapted and tailored to our client’s necessities and context, providing from short one day training or conference sessions to more extensive programmes focussing on executive development and/or high impact consultancy projects.

Our core strength lies in potentiating relationships and results through the development of management skills relating to negotiation, conflict management and constructive dialogue processes. We combine our extensive private and public sector experience with a deep routed academic underpinning. By buttressing the well respected Harvard negotiation model with the Latin American cultural capacity for human relations our services aim at combining first rate management work with first rate relational sensitivity.

Methodology

Our workshop methodology is firmly centred in participative and experiential learning. The participants are guided in dealing with real and individual challenges through role-play, group games and video based activities. By using group centred work the students are able to share and analyse their individual forms of resolving the real world challenges they face by going from practise to theory.

Tailored Workshops

In order to get the most out of our training we recommend the undertaking of pre-workshop investigative interviews. In so doing we are able to familiarise our facilitators with the particular problematic at play with our clients. This in turn allows for the best possible design of tailored workshop materials. Depending on client requirements training can be organised as a standalone one or two day programme or as a series of linked workshops.

Our Programmes

Negotiation and conflict management:

  • Creative Negotiation
Our flagship workshop combines a practise based methodology with a tried and tested conceptual framework for achieving better relationships and increased results in both large and small scale every day negotiations.
  • Advanced Negotiation
This course is orientated towards the further application and exploration of the methodological framework set up in the Creative Negotiation workshop. A particular focus is placed on more complex multi-party negotiation cases, those in which multiple actors are involved.
  • Case Clinic
A personalised working space in which individual challenges, as voiced by the participants themselves, are tackled. Should the client require it these sessions may be filmed in order to then create feedback sessions.
  • Communication:

  • Difficult Conversations
Presentation and practise of concrete tools for the better management of difficult conversations with a focus on the preservation of both relationships and results.
  • Productive Conversations
Identification and exploration of opportunities for improvement in both written and oral communication within the organisation.
  • Leadership:

    • Leadership in Action
A course for those occupying leadership roles. We focus on ways of strengthening informal authority through methodological insight and concrete practical tools. The workshop also works with forms of strengthening inter-personal connections both vertically and horizontally.
    • Leading and Managing Virtual Teams

A course geared towards those who manage and coordinate geographically dispersed teams, often across cultural boundaries.

    • Effective Meetings
We have all taken part in meetings, some have been productive, and others not so much. The meeting, when best practise is followed, can be an invaluable asset for all professionals wishing to increase productivity and results.

      Creativity and innovation:

    • Organisational Creativity and Innovation
This experiential workshop explores how to stimulate, motivate and create favourable  conditions for individual, group and organisational performance centred creativity.
